Tweak Your SXSW Talk

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

RSVP Required - Getting accepted to present at South by Southwest means nothing if you do a crap job of it once you get here. Cranky Talk Workshops are dedicated to eradicating mediocre conference presentations and we’re bringing our unique blend of love, abuse and peer counseling back to Austin. (We ran a workshop at the 2012 SXSW Interactive Festival and got rave reviews from participants.) If you want to test drive your SXSW panel or solo presentation in front of a critical, but highly supportive workshop audience, consider participating in this intense event. We give seasoned presenters a chance to get good and lubricated before their big day and for the less experienced speakers, we’ll walk you by the hand down the path to a great performance. If you’re coming, please plan to attend the full workshop and be ready to offer your own feedback about other people’s presentations, as they will comment on yours.
Prerequisites:
To get the most out of the experience, you should be ready to give your talk in front of your SxSW audience. This workshop isn't about building presentations from scratch, rather it is a place to polish a completed piece.
What to Bring:
Come with a fully prepared talk. You should bring all slides, content, hardware, software, pointers, etc. that you intend to use on the day of your presentation.

To RSVP your seat for this workshop, please click on "Sign in to RSVP" in the upper right location of this page. You'll need to sign in using your SXsocial login information.
