Sherwood Neiss will appear at the SX Bookstore to sign copies of “Crowdfund Investing for Dummies”.
As a serial entrepreneur and investor during the credit crunch, Sherwood Neiss saw a need for a change in outdated securities laws and did something about it by serving as a co-author to the crowdfunding framework used in the JOBS Act.
A former three-time INC500 winner whose company won E&Y’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Neiss understands the keys to entrepreneurial success. Through his firm Crowdfund Capital Advisors (CCA), Neiss works with clients ranging from heads of state to crowdfunding platforms looking to ensure they build sustainable businesses that benefit the markets they serve.
He is a founding board member of Crowdfunding Professionals (CfPA), a trade association focused on education and trade representation; and Crowdfund Intermediary Regulatory Advocates (CfIRA), an advocacy group working w/ the SEC and FINRA.
He speaks throughout the world on crowdfunding at prestigious conferences, forums and universities. He is co-author on Crowdfund Investing for Dummies.
