Touch Me Now: Accessibility on Mobile Screens

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

RSVP Required - Mobile devices have changed the way we design and develop products. Every touch and interface design decision has an impact, especially on users with disabilities. We'll talk about how these users interact with touch screens and show what you can do to improve the overall user experience on leading mobile platforms (iOS and Android). Our goal is to challenge and inspire the builders in the industry to include people from all walks of life into their designs.
Prerequisites:
Good understanding of iOS and/or Android mobile platforms. Experience with user design and/or user research.
What to Bring:
- An iOS device running iOS5 or higher.
- An Android device running Ice Cream Sandwich (version 4.0x) or higher.
- Headphones.
- A blank sheet of paper.
- Something to take notes with.
