Christine A. Pepe is Assistant Vice President of Legal Affairs at ASCAP, the oldest and largest performing rights organization (PRO) in the United States. Ms. Pepe advises ASCAP on both licensing and litigation matters, with a focus on evolving new media platforms. Prior to joining ASCAP, Ms. Pepe practiced intellectual property and entertainment law with the New York Office of McDermott, Will & Emery, where she represented a diverse group of clients ranging from media and technology companies to independent artists. Ms. Pepe serves as co-chair of the Music and Recording Industry Committee for the Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section (EASL) of the New York State Bar Association. She received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law (1999) and her Bachelor of Science from Boston College (1996).
