After working as a photojournalist for several home town newspapers in his native state of Utah, Steve joined Nikon in 1985 as a Technical Representative in Dallas Texas, then later in Sunnyvale California, and Salt Lake City, Utah. During his time in the field, he provided technical assistance and training to many pro photographers at major sporting and news events. He has trained government and military specialists all around the country and even at sea in the use of Nikon products. Steve also taught the Nikon School of Photography for 2 years. He joined the Nikon management team in their New York headquarters in 1999 where he holds the position of Senior Technical Manager and Media Spokesperson.
