Award-winning author and training expert Zak Parrish is one of the leading authorities on Epic’s Unreal Engine, which has won more than 25 top technology awards. With more than a decade spent designing 3D and game development software training materials, Zak’s notable achievements include crafting the “Mastering Unreal Technology” reference series, of which the first installment earned the 2009 Game Developer magazine Front Line Award for Best Book. Zak also authored Epic’s official training video set for the Unreal Development Kit (UDK), the free edition of Unreal Engine 3. At Epic, Zak leads the charge in building the foundation for tutorials and documentation covering the studio’s breakthrough Unreal Engine 4 technology.
